Food Galore! Omnomnom

Some of the photos taken while DH and I were out for some good stuff for the tummies throughout the week.
Prawn Aglio Olio @Pastamania Tg Bunut
Prawn fritters @Frangipani Bistro Sengkurong. This one plate costs $6, a bit pricey I think.
Spaghetti with meatballs. Not bad. The sauce is kind of tasteless but the meatballs make it taste just nice.
Kek lapis batik and kek lapis nutella from The Empire Bakery. Thanks to dear sister.
And this... is how DH eats his Ebi sushi @ The Excapade Times Square :D Eat them separately. And using 'sporks' :p

Cake Feast

So, most people thought that 1st Ramadhan would fall on Monday and decided to eat and eat the whole weekend away. There was a morning tea-break on Saturday sponsored by a student's parents for the teachers, which I decided not to go to since I was still full from breakfast at the canteen. Zoe was almost upset as she had brought in a surprise birthday cake for August celebrants and thought we might not have time during the break for a mini celebration. Well, everyone in the staffroom then decided to have the cake instead of going to the sponsored tea-break, which I'm sure has made her really happy. I didn't get to taste the cake though since I had to rush to finish some tasks in the office but I'm sure it was good since the cake was completely gone by the time I returned :)

A Surprise Birthday Cake from Zoe
This was brought by Judy from Marriott Hotel in Miri.
Went for an afternoon tea at The Empire Hotel Lobby Lounge with sister, DH & brother. The place was fully booked but somehow a group didn't show up and we got their table. Baby's luck :D

Week 31

The countdown has now begun. I'm on sick leave (yes, again) and the doctor said baby's fundal height measurement is equivalent to that of 32 weeks!

I have this feeling that I might deliver way earlier than my EDD and I'm a bit worried with the fact that I haven't prepared anything yet. Baby's clothes and some other stuff are still on their way to Brunei and I hope they will be here soon, really soon. And I haven't got the baby box yet! Eh salah! My sister hasn't got the box for me yet hehe She went to MC last week and found out that the Pooh's baby box was quite pricey (for a box, yes). And she was also planning to get the whole bathing set (awww~) but she might have to hold that back just yet since I'm thinking of getting the Tummy Tub from eBay.

Ramadhan Checklist

Found a very nice checklist that we can use for this upcoming Ramadhan here. Let's all together walk towards Allah's blessings.

Qaisara's 10th Luau Party

Gondol pokok kelapa mak aku!
Getting all the finger foods ready

Can't see the pineapple-shaped helium balloon very clearly here, but it was very nice!

Tummy Tubs!

Just knew about this Tummy Tub from my sister. Can't believe how relax and calm those babies were in such a confined and small bath tub. I could feel that my back and legs were aching as I watched the video but look at those cute babies!

Now I think this not-like-any-ordinary-home-bucket-or-bath-tub bath tub deserves to have a place in my shopping list hehe

Time Does Fly Really Fast

I've just updated last weekend's activities and now I notice that another weekend has just passed by, which i believe was quite well-spent.
Stayed at home the whole Friday morning doind the laundry and listening to His Majesty's Titah and went to a birthday party in the afternoon. It's Abdul Rahim's 5th I think. As usual, Friday afternoon is always the time for a family gathering on dad's side. Everyone seemed to enjoy the homemade spaghetti & sherperd's pie, but too busy to take any pictures of us hehe

Saturday started quite early for us as DH, my sister and I decided to join in the fun at the Larian Hari Keputeraan for the Tutong District. I didn't run though, just stayed at the tent waiting for the two to complete the 3.5 run. Had our breakfast afterwards to replace the burnt calories :p Then I went to the Empire cinema to watch the last Harry Potter movie. We were thinking of having an afternoon tea at the Lobby Lounge but the whole place was fully reserved. So off to Tarindak Beach Cafe we went. We also made a quick stop at Muda Hashim Primary School to watch Commily FT playing against another family football team from Kg Layong. And the boys won 4-3!
Warming-up for the run

Two big fans of err... definitely not Commily FT
Sunday was pretty much a lazy day for us. We had nasi lemak for breakfast at Kg Lambak and stopped at Bukit Shahbandar to get the famous coconut juice. It was a pretty hot day so we decided to just go home and stay indoor (me). DH decided to go back to kampong and visit the family there. And we went to the Gerai Perayaan for some takeaways. The $2 lambchop+chips was awesome! Cheap and yet yummy.
And now it's already Tuesday! Can't recall much about my Monday, and I look forward to this weekend, Kaka Sara's 10th Birthday Bash! Hawaii mari!

Pictures! When I'm Just Too Lazy To Write Anything

Some pictures taken at Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque during my cousin's solemnization ceremony last Sunday. Too bad we didn't take any pictures with the newly-wed couple. I rushed back to Tutong for a hi-tea at Aminah Arif with my cousins. Again no pictures as we were to busy 'stabbing' the ambuyat :D
Mum and my younger sisters
Why this pose? So vain!
Ka Alai! Piyah mau bicuuuu~

And I went back to work after a long MC last Monday. One of my classes has been away for some practice in preparation for a get-together ceremony with His Majesty this coming Sunday. Hence, a less hectic week. More time to get all the unfinished business done.

Went for another tea session on Tuesday with darling Mas & my PIC Isy at WYWY Tutong. It has been a while we hadn't met and we sure had a lot of stuff to talk about. And I also managed to squeeze into my already packed day a quick visit to te tailor to send my Raya dresses. They soon will stop taking orders so I actually came at the right time.
@Wywy Restaurant, date with Ishy & Mashy :D
Now, this is my favorite tailor :) The most polite and the nicest!

I thought I was too lazy to write anything (..')

79.5

That is how much I weigh so far. I remember it was around 75 kg when I got pregnant and that means I've only gained around 4kg throughout the 7 months. And as I' speak (write), I'm still waiting for my turn to get the T T shot. I'm not quite sure what it is for though. And the doctor has finally decided to discharge me from the Combined Clinic as my migraine has gotten milder nowadays. So now I will only need to go to the High Risk Clinic. That's a relief :)

Family Affairs and Things In Between

As I type this entry, the clinic is getting less crowded. I'm here at the Pusat Kesihatan Pekan Tutong for my GERD problem (go google). Been vomiting yellow watery substance (which i think is the reflux acid) even while sleeping, and it has been happening almost every night now. Never had this during my first trimester and I thought the final one would be a breeze.

Woke up quite early yesterday morning to do the laundry and get ready for DH's dental appointment at JPMC. He was getting the anchors fixed into his molars and the bonding for the upper teeth will be done on Monday. Can't imagine how grumpy he is going to be as it is going to be painful for a while and his diet will be limited to soft solids only. Makan bubur saja for 2 weeks 
The JPMC Dental Reception Area, waiting for DH
Now the weekend is here I have to brace myself up for some family gatherings. Went to my Nini's house yesterday afternoon (trust me it had really been a while. Maybe few months and her house was just 10 minutes away). There was a tahlil ceremony for my late grandfather, and we arrived just in time before the tahlil started.
My Driver of the day. On the way to Lamin Seri Kenangan for the tahlil
Uncles and Cousins

Coconut Juice! But I still prefer the fresh one. The canned ones smell and even taste like perfumes :s
However we had to rush since we had another family gathering to attend at my cousin's place (my dad's side). Apparently it was to celebrate her youngest daughter's second birthday. Happy Birthday Nurin Nashwa! May you grow into a beautiful Mu'minah Amin Ya Rabb. Owh and that cousin of mine is pregnant with her 4th and her EDD is not long before mine. Who knows we might deliver on the same day  I also met Ka Didie (finally) who just arrived in Brunei from Abu Dhabi. She had been staying there with her family as the husband's working for Etihad Airlines, and now she is back for good! Didn't do a lot of catch-ups with the rest of the family as almost everyone was pretty occupied with what was playing on TV (I have proofs for this haha!)
Khusyuk nya

See?!

A sweet treat from the birthday girl. A very cute cupcake by Khaily's Collection.
Overall it has really been quite a joyous Friday and alhamdulillah I was well enough to join everyone. Coming next will be weddings. And that's tomorrow. I sure hope I will be able to make it to both weddings AND reach home feeling just well enough to go back to work on Monday.
On another note, baby has been quite active for the past three days! Alhamdulillah :D DH woke up and touched my belly while I was asleep, and told me later that he had been playing with the little one. Now, that's CUTE!

Online Shopping for Baby! (& Ummi of course)

Yes, this has been my activity for the past few days. I had a light bleeding on Tuesday morning and rushed to the A&E. It was a very light one and the doctor did a brief U/S just to see if the baby was alright. Since I've had a miscarriage before the doctor decided to keep me in the ward, which I refused. So she made me sign this release statement and gave me few more days off work for more home rest. Hence, the non-stop shopping activity from home :D

I have been listing down items for me and baby and I've been trying hard not to go overboard (how can I not when all the baby clothes look very yummy?). I'm glad that a friend is willing to buy the stuff for me from Mothercare in UK and get them posted to me. that way it's going to be cheaper as shipping by Mothercare would cost GBP33 minimum! Boo~

My List for baby and myself. Ignore the 'grocery' bit :p
Cute, no? This is from MC

Tommee Tippee Complete Starter Set at only GBP60! I found one at GBP99 and I thought that was cheap!

Another Loss

Al-fatihah for Baby Nurkeisha Amani who has just left us this morning at 3.30am. Words can never console the heartbroken mommy. I pray for her to always be strong, Amin amin amin.

Another Weekend

Just a quick update. I went to this warehouse sale in Beribi Gadong selling baby & maternity stuff. Thought I would find good bargain there but I noticed most of the items are old stuff and had even changed colors :s

We also went to Deseo in Kiulap trying to get some nice comfy maxi dress (I don't want to get real maternity dress as they will only be worn for a short time, maxi dress is a better choice, no?) but they didn't have anything that can fit my growing belly. They did have the lycra+spandex ones but I don't really fancy those material. Was looking for the cotton ones but the designs are not flattering. Hence, today, DH and I are back on the failed mission and hope we will be back with bags of stuff!
